Activities of 2025
A retrospective of our commitment to justice, education, and social reform across the Punjab. Driving change through student leadership and intellectual activism.
Protest Against Waqf Bill
SIO Punjab opposed the Waqf Bill at the Punjab level, the public was made aware of the harmful consequences of this bill and this bill was strongly opposed by forming a human chain in the squares of Malerkotla city. Along with this, this bill was also opposed in Punjabi University, Patiala, in which SIO Punjab was also supported by other fraternal student organizations.
Career Guidance Cell
SIO has been trying for the reconstruction of students. In view of this, SIO Punjab organized a Career Guidance Program, in which students from various schools of the city participated. In this program, SIO Punjab also launched a 'Career Guidance Cell'.
JAC Summer Islamic Camp
SIO Punjab organized JAC Summer Islamic Camp at Malerkotla in which around 50 children participated. In this program, basic Islamic moral and ethical values were integrated with fun activities. Thus, the connection of children with Islam was strengthened from the early years of childhood.
Educational Workshop
Focusing on the academic development of students, SIO Punjab held an extensive educational workshop aimed at providing crucial study techniques, exam preparation strategies, and moral guidance for the youth.
Public Awareness Campaign
A state-wide campaign was organized to raise awareness about the social evils prevailing in society. Volunteers distributed literature and engaged with the public to spread the message of peace and justice.
Youth Leadership Summit
Bringing together the brightest minds from across the state, this summit focused on developing leadership qualities among students, preparing them to take on future challenges with an Islamic perspective.
Campus Cleanliness Drive
As part of our commitment to a better environment, students organized cleanliness drives across various college campuses, promoting the Islamic teaching of cleanliness being half of faith.
Inter-School Competitions
To foster healthy competition and intellectual growth, SIO hosted inter-school essay and debate competitions, providing a platform for young students to express their views confidently.
Relief and Welfare Work
During times of need, our volunteers stepped up to distribute essential supplies and medical aid to the underprivileged sections of society, embodying the true spirit of community service.
Weekly Study Circles
Consistent intellectual development is key. Our weekly study circles (Halaqas) continued across all units, focusing on Quranic studies, Hadith, and contemporary social issues.
State Level Convention
The year culminated in a grand state-level convention, bringing together members and associates to review our progress, renew our intentions, and plan the roadmap for the upcoming year.
